Position Overview
This position performs operational procedures ensuring the Bank's policies are followed, and the Banks risk are assessed.
Key Responsibilities
Assists with fraud-related operational functions and investigations.

Reviews international transactions.
Performs balancing and reconciliation of transaction processing, payment activities, and assigned accounts.

Processes rejects, stop payments, and NSF checks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performs routine bookkeeping duties for proper handling of ACHs, Fed cash letter.
Processes, verifies, and oversees incoming and outgoing wire transfer activity for the Bank.

Inputs, transmits, and receives fund transfers to or from other banks and the Federal Reserve Bank in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains accurate records and documentation related to ACH transactions, wire transfers, cash letters, balancing activities, and other assigned duties in accordance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.

Runs end-of-day processes.
Maintains strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with Bank policy.
Supports the Bank’s overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
Performs backup duties as in other departments, when needed.
Participates in community activities as requested by Bank management.
Run various errands as necessary;
All other duties as assigned;
Employee will have frequent contact with president, loan officers, loan documentation dept., and other personnel within the Bank and some occasional contact with Bank Directors and Committee members.
Employee will have frequent contact with customers and occasional contact with bank examiners, realtors, attorneys, the abstract office, Treasurer’s office, and county and state officials.

Physical requirements:
This is sedentary work that requires the following physical activities: May require lifting, bending, stooping, carrying objects over 25 pounds and drive for extended amounts of time.
Minimum qualifications for consideration:
High school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent. One year of Teller experience or equivalent cash handling experience. Six months bookkeeping experience.
