Remote Telemedicine Physician — W2, Full-Time or Part-Time
Wasef Health is a rapidly growing, physician-led national telemedicine provider group supporting multiple high-volume digital health platforms across the United States.
We are hiring multi-state licensed physicians for W2 remote telemedicine roles. We are looking for reliable physicians who want consistent volume, structured clinical workflows, scheduled phone visit blocks, and asynchronous consult work.
This role is available as either full-time or part-time.
Position Options
Full-Time W2 Physician
$225,000 annual salary
40 scheduled clinical hours per week
Minimum of 500 asynchronous consults per month
Bonus eligible for consults completed above 500/month
2 weeks PTO
Malpractice coverage provided
Part-Time W2 Physician
$112,500 annual salary
20 scheduled clinical hours per week
Minimum of 250 asynchronous consults per month
Bonus eligible for consults completed above 250/month
Malpractice coverage provided
Role Overview
- Providers are scheduled for dedicated clinical availability blocks. During these blocks, physicians complete scheduled phone visits and work asynchronous consults between scheduled calls.
- Scheduled phone visits are generally booked in 10-minute slots, though many are completed faster. When there is downtime between calls, providers work from the asynchronous consult queue.
- The role is designed for physicians who want predictable remote clinical hours, consistent consult volume, and a structured telemedicine workflow.
Service Lines
Physicians may see non-emergency telehealth consults across service lines including:
- Weight management
- Wellness
- Sexual health
- Hormone-related care
- Other protocol-driven telehealth services
- No controlled substances are prescribed through this role.
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled phone visits during assigned clinical availability blocks
- Review asynchronous patient consults and determine treatment eligibility based on Wasef Health protocols
- Review intake forms, medical history, contraindications, medication history, and patient goals
- Prescribe non-controlled medications when clinically appropriate
- Complete clear and accurate documentation
- Respond to clinically relevant follow-up questions when needed
- Communicate with clinical support through Slack and internal systems
- Follow Wasef Health clinical protocols, escalation pathways, and compliance standards
- Meet monthly async consult expectations based on full-time or part-time status
Requirements
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical licensure
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Minimum of 15 active state medical licenses required
- Comfortable with scheduled phone visits and asynchronous chart review
- Comfortable prescribing non-controlled medications through protocol-based telemedicine workflows
- Comfortable working in a high-volume telemedicine environment
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving remote setting
- Comfortable using Slack and web-based clinical platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- 25+ active state licenses
- 50-state licensure or near-complete national coverage
- Prior high-volume telemedicine experience
- Experience with weight management, GLP-1 medications, wellness, sexual health, or hormone-related care
- Strong efficiency with asynchronous consult workflows
Compensation and Bonus Structure
- This is a W2 salaried role.
- Full-time physicians receive $225,000 annually for 40 scheduled clinical hours per week and a minimum expectation of 500 asynchronous consults per month.
- Part-time physicians receive $112,500 annually for 20 scheduled clinical hours per week and a minimum expectation of 250 asynchronous consults per month.
- Providers are bonus eligible for asynchronous consults completed above the monthly minimum. Bonus compensation is paid at the applicable per-consult bonus rate.
