We are looking for someone that has a passion for providing quality childcare. Our center is a STAR 4 facility that values relationships between the childcare provider and families that entrust us with their children. We offer education assistance for those that intend to invest in our center. It is our mission to provide both an educational and loving environment for our children and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Care for children ages 12m-3y
- Perform daily checks to ensure classroom is meeting DHS & STARS standards
- Assist in completing observations and assessments on children
- Maintain daily communication with parents
- Assist in keeping updated logs and reports (i.e. Illness Logs, Injury Logs, 45-Day Assessments)
- Report any suspicion of child abuse to Director
- Assist in maintaining an organized classroom in accordance with ERS and basic sanitary practices
- Inspect and notify Director of any broken toys, furniture, or objects in the classroom
- Attend monthly Staff Meetings
- Attend trainings as required by DHS & STARS hours
- Keep all appropriate personal records up to date (i.e. Time Sheet, Training, Health Report, CPR
Educational Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience with children
