About the Holiday Place Program
Holiday Place is a housing facility within ReDiscover's Clustered Apartment Program (CAP). The program provides Intensive supportive housing for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Clients receive medically necessary on-site services in an live in setting because of a history of failure in multiple community settings and/or the presence on an ongoing risk of harm to self or others which would otherwise require long term psychiatric hospitalization.
What You'll Do

Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).

Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.

Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.

Maintains cleanliness of the program space.

Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.
Requirements of the Position

Availability to work a FT schedule (40 hours per week) Mon-Fri 7A-3:30P; all new hires are required to attend a one-week ReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process.

High School Diploma or GED.

A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state).

Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.

Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.

Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.

Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
