American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience and active BLS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level III Trauma facility in California.

Acute care hospital setting within a Speech Pathology unit

Level III Trauma facility

10-hour day shifts, every other weekend (EOW)

Float requirement to a sister facility in Redding, CA as needed

Cerner EMR used in this position

13-week assignment

Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience required

Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted

Active CA SLP license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
