Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment properly.
- Obtain and document high-quality images for interpretation.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Review patient history and prepare patients for examinations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection-control standards.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification preferred/required depending on facility.
- Appropriate state license, if required.
- BLS certification preferred.
- Previous ultrasound/sonography experience preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Pay: $64.00 - $66.00 per hour
