Medical Assistant – Chiropractic & Medical Weight Loss
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, dependable Medical Assistant to join our team! This position will work with both our chiropractic patients and medical weight-loss patients.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and can provide a warm, professional patient experience in a busy healthcare office.
Responsibilities
Greet, check in, and room patients
Take and document vital signs, weight, and measurements
Obtain and document patient information and medical histories
Assist the chiropractor with patient care and treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Assist with chiropractic therapies and procedures as directed
Assist with medical weight-loss patients and follow-up visits
Provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions
Administer injections when properly trained, authorized, and permitted by applicable law
Document medications, injections, and patient care accurately
Monitor patients and communicate any concerns to the provider
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer phones and assist patients with questions
Assist with check-in/check-out and collecting payments
Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
Help maintain an efficient and positive patient flow
Perform other clinical and office duties as needed
Qualifications
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Bilingual a PLUS!
Previous medical office, chiropractic, weight-loss, or healthcare experience preferred
Injection experience is a plus
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Professional, friendly, and compassionate personality
Dependable and punctual
Organized and detail-oriented
Able to multitask in a busy office
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Must maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
