Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Experience with food handling, customer service, and POS systems is essential to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously
- Process payments accurately through cash handling or cashiering systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is preferred; experience in nightclubs or casual dining is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
