As our commercial laundry division continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to oversee our overnight production team. This position will manage the processing of large commercial bedding, linens, towels, and other laundry items while leading a team of approximately five employees.

Position Summary
The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all overnight commercial wash & fold operations. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, and customer deadlines are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will supervise, train, and develop a team while maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient production environment. This position reports directly to ownership and will play a key role in the continued growth of our commercial laundry business.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management
- Supervise a team of approximately five laundry attendants/folders during overnight operations.
- Train all new employees on company procedures, production standards, quality expectations, and safety practices.
- Coach and mentor employees to improve productivity and performance.
- Create daily work assignments and balance workloads throughout the shift.
- Hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, and professionalism.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
- Lead by example by working alongside the team as needed.
Commercial Production Operations
- Oversee processing of commercial bedding, linens, towels, uniforms, and other customer laundry.
- Ensure all customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing priorities to maximize productivity.
- Verify that all commercial accounts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure completed orders are properly sorted, packaged, and staged for delivery.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect finished laundry for cleanliness, stains, damage, and proper folding.
- Ensure consistency in presentation and packaging.
- Quickly identify and resolve quality or production issues.
- Maintain high standards for every commercial account.
Facility Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine housekeeping throughout the facility.
- Clean dryer lint filters and assist with preventative equipment care.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist with washing, drying, folding, sorting, loading, and unloading laundry as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory, management, or team leadership experience required.
- Previous experience working overnight or night shifts is required.
- Experience leading teams in one or more of the following industries is preferred:
- Manufacturing
- Warehouse
- Distribution
- Hospitality
- Hotel Operations
- Commercial Laundry
- Production
- Logistics
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and motivate employees.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial laundry or linen processing experience.
- Experience managing production quotas or daily production goals.
- Experience implementing or following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
