Job Description
Solu is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Technical Analyst - Financials (GL/KK) with extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK). This role will work on the functional team and requires advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PeopleSoft integrations, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Integration Broker, PS Query, lifecycle testing, production support, and technical analysis. Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), including deep understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing frameworks.
- Work on the functional team while providing advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting.
- Support cross-module integration points including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense, with emphasis on interdependency workflows and integration touchpoints.
- Work with PeopleSoft architectures and external applications.
- Perform hands-on PeopleSoft development.
- Work with PeopleSoft Application Engines.
- Utilize Application Designer.
- Analyze PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, retrofitting needs, and upgrade conflicts.
- Support People Tools Integration Broker, web services, and REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Lead functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs.
- Apply project management experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Utilize PS Query.
- Work with SOA and other file transfer technologies.
- Create custom inbound and outbound interface files with banking and other external systems.
- Research and analyze PeopleSoft tables and structures.
- Provide production support including issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management.
- Perform comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing including vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, and accounts receivable processing.
- Support test sequencing, data staging, and end-to-end business process validation.
- Write enhancement documentation including requirements gathering, business analyst configuration, identifying tables and code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative options.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support.
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK) - Required
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense - Required
- Experience analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, retrofitting needs, etc - Required
- Proficiency in People Tools, Integration Broker, web services and REST and SOAP API integrations - Required
- Proficient at PS Query - Required
- Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience - Required
- Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is desired - Highly desired
