Duties:
Job Summary: Prepares, cooks, and serves meals for patients, staff, and visitors. Job Responsibilities: -Prepares, cooks, and serves food for patients, staff and visitors with high standards of quality, taste, and appearance. Performs dietary administrative tasks as needed. -Abides by and upholds all internal and external food safety standards established by the Department of Health, AHCA, Joint Commission. -Maintains compliance with department, company, state, and federal policies and regulations. -Provides exceptional customer service by actively listening to and answering questions. Fulfill special requests whenever possible. -Teaches and effectively communicate with foodservice staff towards the common goal of service excellence. -Shows professionalism, treating others with dignity and respect. -Avoid unnecessary conflict and provide a positive and optimistic attitude. -Supports Vision, Mission and Values. -Shows effective Communication. -Limits unplanned absences. -Performs other duties as required and conforms with and abides by all policies and procedures.
Skills:
Required Skills & Experience: -One or more years' experience in commercial foodservice operation. -Working knowledge of food preparation and skills. -Working knowledge and ability to use kitchen and cleaning equipment. -Ability to provide outstanding face-to-face customer service. -Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in the English language. -Works well with others and is flexible. -Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
