Position Overview
World Class Title is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to guide real estate transactions through to a smooth, accurate, and on-time closing. In this role, you will own the file from review through closing, confirming that every detail is in order, preparing accurate settlement statements and closing documents, and serving as the main point of contact for the parties involved.
The ideal candidate combines precision with strong communication skills and stays composed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will balance technical accuracy with proactive client service, keeping realtors, buyers, and sellers informed and confident every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Title Review
- Thoroughly review the file, including the purchase contract and the information received from the title department.
- Confirm that all necessary information and documentation are present and accurately entered into the file.
Settlement Statement & Closing Disclosure Preparation
- Create accurate settlement statements and closing disclosures.
- Work directly with lenders to ensure all numbers are balanced.
- Confirm that contract and title requirements are met before closing.
Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for realtors, sellers, and buyers throughout the closing process.
- Provide regular updates and manage expectations for all parties.
- Proactively communicate any potential delays and work to resolve issues quickly.
Document Preparation
- Prepare all necessary closing documents.
- Ensure documents are accurate and compliant with state requirements and company policies.
Post-Closing Support
- Fully prepare and organize files for the post-closing and funding teams, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with any post-closing delays or outstanding items, working to resolve them efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with all parties involved.
- Experience in title, loan processing, banking, or real estate is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
