- Experience working with grant-funded programs.
- Previous experience in higher education or other not for profit organizations in finance and budget management.
- Accounting experience working with multiple funding sources.
- Depth, breadth, and variety of experience using Excel or similar programs.
- Office management experience.

Position Purpose:
This position assists with budget development and ongoing monitoring for the multiple grants that fund Quality Care Connections. This position also provides administrative support to staff, instructors and students.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate grant budget development and implementation.
- Monitor grant and departmental budgets.
- Manage grant financial processes and compliance. Interpret and apply grant requirements, federal and state regulations, College fiscal policies, and fund restrictions.
- Prepare financial analyses and projections.
- Coordinate payroll and personnel financial processes.
- Reconcile financial accounts and maintain fiscal integrity.
- Coordinate purchasing and accounts payable activities.
- Monitor grant revenues and financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and grant documentation.
- Maintain financial records and documentation.
- Provide financial consultation and technical support.
- Develop and improve financial systems and procedures.
- Coordinate departmental operational support.
- Exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Support the mission of the program.
- Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students.
- Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Statement:
Reports to and works under the general supervision of a division/department chair or other supervisor. Work is performed independently according to college and department policies, State and federal rules or regulations. A manager or program coordinator may assign work, provide work priorities and be available to answer questions or troubleshoot problems on a daily basis. Work is reviewed to assure conformance with policies and by results obtained.
This position may have responsibility to assign tasks, provide priorities, train and monitor the work of office support specialists, student assistants and volunteers.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that includes office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform cognitive and psychometric work for more than six (6) hours a day. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Work safely.
