Description - elevator operations including grain handling, safety and maintenance, rolling stock, and customer service. At our Winfield and Burden locations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of grain experience with strong knowledge of grain operations
- Forklift experience
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), move up to 50 pounds
-Willing to work overtime and weekends
- Ability to work near or around dry/liquid fertilizers
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a Valid Driver's License
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for grain handling including incoming, stored, and outgoing grain
- Maintain the grain quality, blending, and provide grain drying services
- General maintenance, as needed Job
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards coworkers and customers
- Building relationships with farmers and offering exceptional customer service which includes minimizing arriving truck waiting time to the greatest extent possible.
- Measures, monitors, and manages inventory
