The incumbent in this position assists the General Manager (GM) in managing and overseeing the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. Smoke Shop’s daily operations according to established company policies and procedures. As directed, the individual acts as a management liaison and sales associate for the smoke shops. Ensures that the smoke shop meets or exceeds yearly sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as established. The incumbent is also responsible for the supervision of staff at a specific location and may be assigned as the manager for other smoke shop locations when necessary. This person ensures staff’s adherence to operational schedules, safety, policies, regulations, and maintenance of facilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED is required. Associates degree is preferred. A combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a retail environment or similarly related field is required. Prior experience in retail management or supervisory roles, including scheduling overlapping shifts for 24/7 operations is required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Must be proficient in Microsoft related applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The incumbent may sit comfortably to perform office work; while on the field, there may be occasional walking, standing, bending, carrying store items, and equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to lift 30-35 lbs. May be required to drive a company vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Most work is performed indoors in a clean, air-conditioned environment with minimal noise. Outdoor work may be required, and the incumbent must be able to tolerate extreme temperature fluctuations and typical South Florida weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and noise
