ICU Registered Nurse
Shift - Night shift (7:00P - 7:30A)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess critical care experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for those with life-threatening conditions.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and airway management.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of IL.
- Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS Certifications
- At least 2 years of strong ICU experience.
