Standard Proof Whiskey Co. is looking for experienced, hospitality-driven bartenders to join our team at our Nashville cocktail bar.
We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy taking care of guests, know their way around a bar, and want to be part of a team that takes pride in the space and the experience we create. We care about great cocktails and great whiskey, but just as much about making Standard Proof a place people want to come back to.
What You'll Do
- Provide friendly, attentive service and create a welcoming experience for every guest
- Prepare cocktails, whiskey pours, tastings, and other beverages accurately and consistently
- Learn our spirits and be comfortable talking with guests about Standard Proof whiskey
- Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities
- Handle transactions accurately through our POS system
- Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety standards
- Work as part of a team and jump in where needed to keep service running smoothly
- Help maintain a clean, polished bar and guest area throughout your shift
What We're Looking For
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Comfortable making both classic and craft cocktails
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
- Willing to learn and take feedback
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must meet Tennessee requirements for serving alcohol
Compensation
$8/hour + tips
