About the Role:
As a Fire Fighter II, you will receive intermediate-level airfield firefighting/crash rescue training and experience under general supervision. Your responsibilities will include mastering the use and maintenance of specialized fire fighting and crash/rescue equipment, delivering fire prevention services, and executing fire fighting and crash/rescue procedures and practices.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must meet or exceed the following criteria:

Qualify for a "Favorable" federal background investigation.
Must be a US Citizen.

Be at least 18 years old.
-
Possess a valid Utah Driver's License and have clean driving record.

Qualify to obtain an SLCIAP Aircraft Movement Area Badge.

Pass NFPA 1582 medical evaluation.
-
Complete Firefighter skills attributes.
Qualifications
In addition, the incumbent must:

Possess DoD Certification or ProBoard/IFSAC equivalent; Fire Fighter II.

Possess or be able to obtain Airport Fire Fighter, HAZMAT Operations, Driver/Operator Pumper, ARFF & Mobile Water Supply within 1 year of hire.

Obtain an appropriate U.S. Government Driver License within 1 year of hire.

Possess current State of Utah Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or National Registry (NREMT) equivalent (with the ability to obtain Utah reciprocity immediately upon hire).
