Summary: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment across all areas of the gym, ensuring equipment, locker rooms, and common spaces meet health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and saunas
- Wipe down and disinfect cardio/strength equipment
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors; clean mirrors and glass
- Empty trash and replace liners; restock paper goods, soap, sanitizer
- Maintain entryways, windows, and exterior common areas
- Report maintenance issues or equipment damage to management
- Follow OSHA and chemical-handling safety procedures
Requirements:
- Prior cleaning/janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and be on feet for full shifts
- Reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
