We are a growing general engineering contractor serving the greater Las Vegas area, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking General Laborer to join our field team. This role is essential to keeping our heavy civil and engineering projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

As a General Laborer, you will support site supervisors, equipment operators, and skilled tradespeople with a variety of physical and technical tasks. You’ll help maintain safe, clean, and productive job sites while gaining hands-on experience across multiple aspects of civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, hazards, and obstacles.
- Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and heavy equipment across the job site.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
- Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills) safely.
- Mix, pour, and level concrete or asphalt when required.
- Support equipment maintenance and ensure strict adherence to OSHA health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of general labor experience (heavy civil or construction preferred).
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous manual labor in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move heavy objects 50 to 75 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the office.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following complex verbal instructions.
- Willingness to learn new skills on the job.
- English/Spanish speaking a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour (depending on experience). Occasional prevailing wage projects
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday with frequent overtime opportunities.
