Structural Welder / Fitter – Fulton, MS

Pay: $18.50 – $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder / Fitter to join our team in Fulton, MS. This position is responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding metal components to meet project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and possess strong blueprint-reading and welding skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform flux core, solid core, MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of metal materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
- Fit and assemble structural components according to project requirements.
- Utilize fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, press brakes, grinders, and other shop tools.
- Measure and inspect materials using precision tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Assist with material handling, rigging, and movement of components using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication and welding process.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Welder, Fitter, or Fabricator in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in Flux Core (FCAW), Solid Core, MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication knowledge.
- Experience with structural steel, pipe fitting, ductwork, or heavy fabrication is a plus.
- Familiarity with ASME codes and industry welding standards preferred.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements accurately.
