Position Overview
We're looking for a reliable, self-motivated team member to join our café team as a Café Support Assistant. This role focuses on supporting kitchen operations and helping ensure smooth, efficient lunch service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist kitchen staff during lunch service (11:00 AM–2:00 PM)
Support food preparation, plating, and basic kitchen tasks
Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed
Help with opening, closing, and daily kitchen cleaning duties
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Work efficiently and communicate effectively with the café team
Pitch in wherever needed to support daily café operations
Qualifications
Prior professional cooking, baking, or kitchen prep experience strongly preferred
ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed
