Immigration Attorney Removal Defense
A fast-growing law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney Removal Defense to join a team of exceptional professionals managing a high-volume docket.
About the role
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Massachusetts. The attorney in this role will manage removal defense cases from start to finish while collaborating closely with legal staff and helping guide a team of paralegals.
Responsibilities
- Handle removal defense cases from start to end
- Manage a high-volume case docket with strong attention to detail
- Mentor and supervise a team of paralegals
- Attend in-person meetings, court appearances, and agency appointments as needed
- Travel as required to USCIS, EOIR, ICE, family courts for SIJS matters, and other external meetings
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience handling removal defense cases from start to finish
- Active license to practice law in Massachusetts
- Ability to work on-site full-time, five days per week
- Willingness to mentor and supervise paralegal staff
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
