We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Night Shift Freezer Warehouse Worker to join our distribution team. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory, and working in a cold-storage/freezer environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and efficient product movement throughout our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks according to shipping and receiving schedules.
- Pick, stage, and move products within freezer and warehouse areas.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure orders are accurate and properly prepared for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Prior forklift operating experience required (certification preferred).
- Experience loading and unloading trucks.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a freezer/cold-storage environment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- RF scanner experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- Experience in food distribution or cold-storage facilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
