Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting projects, demonstrating expertise in various techniques and materials. This role requires a strong understanding of brush, roll, spraying, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Painter will be responsible for transforming spaces through high-quality finishes. Applicants will be required to do a non-paid interview and skills assessment that takes place at our training facility in Northeast Philadelphia
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on commercial painting projects while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of each project.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial painting, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Knowledge using scissor and boom lifts
- Familiarity with commercial painting practices is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of blueprints is a plus.
- Experience with airless paint spraying equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while following safety regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.11 - $33.89 per hour
