Position Overview
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours between 7:30am - 5:30pm. Schedule to be determined.
We’re hiring a Full-Time Assistant Teacher (M-F, 40 hours per week) to support our lead 4 year old teacher in creating an engaging, Christ-centered classroom environment. In this role, you’ll help facilitate Bible-based activities, supervise daily routines, and ensure the classroom remains safe, clean, and welcoming for every child.
Bonus: This role has growth potential into a lead teaching position!
What You’ll Do
- Assist in leading fun, Bible-based lessons and activities
- Supervise children during play, meals, and rest time
- Lead afternoon activities
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
- Sanitize toys and materials regularly
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Support classroom coverage during teacher breaks and lunches
What We’re Looking For
- A love for working with children and sharing the love of Christ
- Minimum 6 months experience working in ECE (preferably in Nevada)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Responsible, organized, and dependable
- Must meet NV State Childcare Licensing requirements:
- Background check
- Negative TB test
- CPR/First Aid certification
- NV Registry Membership
- Commitment to ongoing training

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
