We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and compassionate Activities Assistant to bring fun, laughter, and connection to the lives of our residents in a long-term care community. If you love working with seniors, enjoy planning activities, and want a job where you can truly make a difference every day, we’d love to meet you!
This is a Part Time position, Every other Weekend and Monday and Fridays on the opposite week.
- Help lead games, crafts, music, exercise, parties, and special events
- Encourage residents to join activities and socialize
- Create a fun, positive, and welcoming atmosphere
- Assist residents to and from activities when needed
- Celebrate holidays, birthdays, and themed events with residents
- Work with a caring team dedicated to improving residents’ quality of life
- Positive attitude and great energy
- Compassion for seniors and a heart for helping others
- Creativity and enthusiasm
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Experience in activities, healthcare, customer service, or working with seniors is a plus
