Ivy at Davenport is looking for a caring, compassionate, and patient-focused Dietary Cooks to join our team. We are a small skilled nursing facility of 75 dually certified beds in the Davenport, Iowa area. Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in providing excellent dining services. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and serving under the direction of the dietary manager or cook.
- Set up dining areas and tray carts for meal services.
- Clean kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas following sanitation guidelines.
- Help with bussing tables and dishwashing as needed.
- Follow dietary restrictions and special requests for residents or patients.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a dietary department, kitchen, or food service setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospitals is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to assist others.
