Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail using RF scanners to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Load and unload shipments safely, utilizing heavy lifting techniques and forklift operation when necessary
- Maintain organized filing systems for postal records, correspondence, and shipping documentation
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipment contents against manifests
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts to move pallets and large packages securely
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing parcels for delivery or storage
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all handling, loading, and unloading procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or postal services with strong organizational skills
- Ability to operate RF scanners accurately for tracking shipments
- Forklift certification or experience with forklift operation is highly preferred
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and repetitive movement throughout shifts
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and warehouse best practices
- Excellent attention to detail for filing, sorting, and record keeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
