Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Associate and become a vital part of our retail store operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting warehouse distribution activities, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment, as well as restocking store shelves. Your proactive approach will help optimize warehouse processes, improve inventory control, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network. Duties
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy across warehouse management systems and ERP platforms.
- Assist with receiving shipments, verifying quantities, and properly storing materials using materials handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Support order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to track inventory levels and assist with demand planning initiatives.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to coordinate transportation planning, dispatching, freight movements, bin transfers, and restocking
- Implement process improvements by analyzing supply chain data and recommending operational enhancements for inventory control and logistics workflows.
- Support category management efforts by organizing materials, managing pricing data, and ensuring compliance with shipping & freight standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques, warehouse distribution, and transportation management systems.
- Familiarity with netsuite used for supply chain analytics and materials management.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other materials handling equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Excellent data analysis skills to support demand planning, procurement, and process improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams including purchasing, freight carriers, 3PL providers, and dispatching teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
