Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced PT CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This position is PT. The ideal candidate will be running FTL to and from Duluth area and Mpls area. Mostly no touch freight. Ideal for a retired or semi retired person. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills.
Duties
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and cargo documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with various types of freight transportation.
- Experience in load unloading procedures and handling different types of cargo.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
