Contract A/V Technician Needed
We are a full service video production company looking for a qualified Audio Visual Technicians (and Project Leads) in the Austin area. This is a contract position that requires flexibility, ability to travel, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide A/V services and support at client projects held at facilities throughout the United States.
- Pack, transport, and unload cases of A/V equipment.
- A/V setup per project-specific A/V memos. Projects involve setting up cameras and tripods, microphones, projectors, and projector screens and making cable runs across multiple rooms at varying project sites.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 25 years old (for project leads).
- Ability to travel out-of-state for an average of 4 days per assignment.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day.
- Local to the Austin area or willingness to travel to Austin.
- Valid drivers’ license AND ability to rent a car. (for project leads)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Initiative and flexibility
- Excellent client relation skills.
- Discretion and ability and willingness to sign confidentiality agreements on a per project basis
- Prior A/V experience preferred.
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
