The Orangery at Olde Florida is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial sales professional to become the Director of Sales for one of Southwest Florida's newest luxury event destinations.
This is a rare opportunity to build a venue's sales program from the ground up while enjoying 100% commission-based compensation with unlimited earning potential.

The Orangery at Olde Florida is a premier event venue located within Olde Florida Motorcoach & RV Resort in LaBelle, Florida. Designed to host weddings, corporate retreats, galas, nonprofit events, private celebrations, rallies, and community gatherings, The Orangery combines elegant event spaces with unique overnight accommodations through our luxury Park Models; creating a destination experience unlike anything else in the region.
As the Director of Sales, you'll be responsible for growing revenue by creating relationships and bringing business to The Orangery.
Your responsibilities include:

Prospecting and generating new business opportunities

Building relationships with wedding planners, corporate clients, nonprofits, tourism organizations, chambers of commerce, and community partners

Conducting venue tours and sales presentations

Preparing proposals and negotiating contracts

Attending bridal shows, trade shows, networking events, and community functions

Developing strategic partnerships that generate recurring business

Selling complete event experiences, including venue rental, catering, bar service, enhancements, and overnight Park Model lodging

Managing client planning during the venue's startup phase before transitioning those responsibilities to a future Sales & Event Coordinator

Previous event planning experience is helpful but not required.
This position offers unlimited earning potential through an aggressive tiered commission structure based on Total Booked Event Revenue.

5% on the first $250,000 in annual booked revenue

6% on revenue from $250,001–$500,000

7% on revenue from $500,001–$750,000

8% on revenue from $750,001–$1,000,000
-
10% on revenue exceeding $1,000,000
Commissions are earned upon execution of a signed contract and receipt of the required client deposit.
To help you establish a successful sales pipeline, The Orangery provides:

Recoverable draw of $3,000 per month for the first 90 days

IRS mileage reimbursement for approved travel

Reimbursement for pre-approved trade shows, networking events, lodging, airfare, and other business development expenses
