Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Project Manager to oversee and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead project teams, manage construction sites, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency in project management software to facilitate effective planning and execution of complex commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of MEP construction projects from inception to handover.
- Manage construction project schedules to ensure timely delivery while coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications related to MEP systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
- Utilize project management software to track progress, update schedules, prepare reports, and manage documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
- Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction project management within the commercial construction sector.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Extensive hands-on experience working on construction sites with a focus on MEP systems.
- Proficiency in project management software tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications related to MEP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes applicable to commercial projects.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
