White Lodging is a privately owned management company that develops and operates a portfolio of hotels of different brands. This particular location is a Marriott branded property with a full restaurant and bar, Champions, as well as a Starbucks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Supervisor, you will make sure all food is prepared according to our recipes, and meets quality and presentation standards.
- Will make sure food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored to standards and that all required logs and temp checks are kept current and maintained properly.
- Create positive associate relations that lead to high engagement and low turnover.
- Leads team in a fair, firm, and consistent way, as well as making sure the team is well trained, knowledgeable of expectations, and up to date with certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Supervisor will be advanced at food preparation techniques and able to coach cooks on skills as needed
- Kitchen equipment knowledge – ability to troubleshoot issues and alternate solutions as needed
- Time management and delegation skills
- A desire to pursue excellence relentlessly.

Oversee staffing levels and make adjustments to ensure service levels are met within labor model. Oversee department in absence of Sous/Executive Chef. Order and complete inventory. Support Executve and Sous Chef in all areas of the kitchen including food production, purchasing, and kitchen sanitation. Maintain control charts of all food items produced. Read and follow all menus and recipes. Prepare, supervise and cook on an assigned station acording to recipes and use records. Check food before serving it to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct. Make sure all plates and platters are garnished appropriately according to use recors. Consistently spot check food to ensure that food served meets quality standards. Ensure that all product coolers are clean and organized. Maintain a clean and orderly work area in accordance with hotel standards. Ensure that food sanitation practices are followed. Become certified in sanitation and food handling as required by the state.
