Description:
The Bartender at Mallards is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional, safe, and upscale environment. This position plays a key role in creating welcoming guest experience while maintaining compliance with all applicable Florida alcohol laws, company policies, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospitality environment while representing the Mallards brand with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards

Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations

Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and members

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, lounge, and service areas

Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies as needed

Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently

Handle cash, credit card transactions, tabs, and receipts responsibly

Monitor guest behavior and notify management of any safety or compliance concerns

Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotional events

Assist with lounge setup, breakdown, and special events

Ensure all glassware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained

Follow all company safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures

Work collaboratively with management and other team members

Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous bartender experience preferred but not required.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Basic knowledge of beer, liquor, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.

Basic math and computer skills required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must pass a background check and drug test.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Ability to bend, reach, and handle routine bar duties.
