JOB SUMMARY
SOS Industrial Services, an Allied Valve Inc. company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. The Field Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, assessments, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of industrial piping systems, tanks, and related equipment. This role involves working in the field at customer sites to ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $22 - 27/hour starting pay (based on experience)
- Additional pay for emergency call in

CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measuring and installing enclosures and clamps
- Drilling and tapping
- Wire and band flange repair
- Air hammer use and peening flanges
- Carbon fiber and composite wrapping
- Field machining
- Pipe freezing
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Leak repair and machining experience beneficial - but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Maintain clean drug screen including both urinalysis and hair follicle testing
- Background check

- Strong math, mechanical, and computer aptitude
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to work in any environmental and weather condition
- Must be willing to travel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Climb stairs, ladders, and work in elevated locations
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Ability to carry equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and climb
May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles
