Join our dynamic team as a non-CDL Cargo Van Driver and become a vital link in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Regional or OTR drivers preferred. Local routes also available. This job requires you to perform atleast TWO or more deliveries a day. The more loads you deliver the more you are compensated. We are looking to hire 2 drivers. One who is available from Monday -Wednesday and another available Thursday -Sunday. The shifts are incentivized by hard work and effort to satisfy our customers. The number of loads successfully completed, displaying professionalism and prompt delivery times will be GENEROUSLY compensated.
In this role, you will operate a cargo van to safely and efficiently transport goods, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. We are a young company building our customer base so this job appeals to HUNGRY and EAGER entrepreneurial candidates.
REFERENCES Required and will be contacted to verify past experience! Our van is a 2021 Ram Promaster in GREAT condition (~20K miles).
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or cargo van to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes
- Safely operate a cargo van (GVWR 8900 lbs) on local, regional or OTR routes
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete necessary documentation accurately
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving and vehicle operation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a focus on route efficiency
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, heavy lifting, and inventory handling
- Familiarity with box trucks or cargo vans
- Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus for handling freight safely
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as moving boxes, heavy lifting, and repetitive loading activities
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and best practices for commercial driving
