Job Overview
We are looking for an Experienced and highly motivated individual to start immediately as a Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee multifamily residential construction projects. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. Also able to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of multifamily construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and work plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and subcontracts to ensure project requirement are met.
- Manage subcontractor bidding, negotiation and contract administration
- Monitor project costs, review change orders and control project budgets.
- Conduct regular site visits.
- Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior leadership and clients
- Manage project documentation, production schedule, scope of work, budgets, change orders and charge backs, approve subcontractors work and invoices.
Skills:
- 5-8+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably multifamily residential developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and subcontractor performance
- Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
- Bilingual English - Spanish required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook and other construction documents
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize task effectively
- Team player with proven ability to work well under pressure.
- Customer focus - achieve company and personal goals through customer focus
- Capable of interacting effectively with all levels of personnel in a fast paced on time delivery environment.
