About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Regional Market Manager to lead Saga Spirits Group’s route-to-market strategy and drive growth across on-premise and off-premise channels. This role combines hands-on sales execution, team leadership, and strategic collaboration with distributor partners to deliver exceptional results.
Compensation & Performance Structure
This role offers a competitive base salary with a significant variable performance component designed to reward execution and leadership.
- Bi-Annual Performance Bonus: In addition to your base salary, you are eligible to earn a target bonus paid out in bi-annual installments (twice per year). Each payment is tied to the achievement of specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) agreed upon at the start of the period. – 80% of KPIs to qualify
- KPI Breakdown: Payouts are weighted based on company priorities, typically structured as:
- Quantitative (Sales): Hitting territory case volume, new account placements, and depletion targets. (70%)
- Operational (Execution): Budget adherence, reporting compliance, and distributor management. (30%)
Your Focus Will Include
- Driving Sales & Distribution (70%): Expand brand presence by securing new placements, increasing rate of sale, and strengthening relationships with key accounts.
- Distributor Collaboration (30%): Partner with distributor sales consultants to align on priorities, share tools, and motivate execution.
What You’ll Do
- Sales & Distribution Growth: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and on-premise accounts to ensure Saga Spirits Group portfolios are widely available.
- Program Execution: Activate retail and bar programs, secure displays, and implement promotions that drive consumer trial and pull-through.
- Event Leadership: Oversee activations at retail, on-premise, and experiential events to strengthen brand equity and consumer engagement.
- Distributor Alignment: Provide visibility and resources to distributor partners, ensuring they are equipped to champion our brands.
- Brand Visibility: Merchandise products effectively in stores and on backbars to maximize consumer interest.
- Local Activation: Support marketing initiatives, tastings, and events that bring Saga Spirits Group brands to life and foster consumer loyalty.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and report key metrics to leadership.
- Budget Management: Optimize spend for impactful activations and propose innovative ideas for brand-building initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in beverage alcohol sales, ideally in a distribution sales consultant role; 5+ years of bartending or beverage director experience.
- Relationships: Established connections with on-premise and retail buyers, owners, and decision-makers in the Florida market.
- Leadership: Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead a field team.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and the beverage alcohol landscape.
- Skills: Exceptional time management, organizational ability, and follow-through.
- Other Requirements: Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time; ability to lift 30–40 lbs; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
