A family in the Dallas area is seeking kind compassionate, and energetic SSP’s to provide 2:1 In Home and Community Support for their adult son living at home. The Support Service Professional will support this curious and energetic young man with accesses recreational activities in the community and participating in volunteer work. Candidates must like outdoor and physical fitness activities.
Description of Duties:
· Provide transportation to community events
· complete daily documentation of goals
· Provide 2:1 support, work as a team
· Communicate with staff, guardians, and Managing Employer
Job Expectations / Requirements:
· Experience with non-verbal communication and ACC devices
· Implement Positive Approaches
· Experience with supporting people with Autism
Staff will be employed by AWC and Managing Employer, not Beacon Specialized Living.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
