Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales and transactions accurately
- Scoop ice cream efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage customer orders, upselling additional toppings or specialty items to enhance sales
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning scoops, utensils, counters, and display cases
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give accurate change
- Operate kitchen equipment safely when preparing additional food items or beverages as needed
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or food service environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions, upselling, and customer service excellence
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace
- Previous experience in café, grocery store, or restaurant settings is beneficial
