Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the culinary team
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Help with menu planning, including suggesting new dishes and incorporating dietary restrictions
- Support catering events by assisting with food preparation, setup, and cleanup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and storage
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Skills:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and menu planning
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
