Job Summary
Elizabeth Park Rehabilitation and Nursing, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist OT to join our team at our Elizabeth, New Jersey facility. As a valued member of our therapy team, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.
About the Role
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with their individual treatment plans, focusing on improving functional abilities, promoting independence, and enhancing overall quality of life.
Conduct thorough assessments, set realistic goals, and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Implement evidence-based interventions, such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to address physical, cognitive, and emotional deficits.
Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with institution standards.
Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in staff training and education, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Responsibilities
