Soundbox, LLC is a private practice providing speech-language and occupational therapy services throughout the Chicagoland area. We are passionate about delivering individualized, family-centered care while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both our clients and clinicians.
We are seeking a Part-Time or Per Diem Occupational Therapist (starting at approximately 2–3+ hours per week) who is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about helping children and families. This position offers the flexibility to build your caseload at your own pace, making it an excellent opportunity for clinicians looking to supplement an existing schedule or gradually grow into a larger role.

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Write evaluation reports and clinical documentation.
- Plan and provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions.
- Educate and collaborate with families and caregivers.
- Communicate effectively with other providers and members of the interdisciplinary team.
Client Population
You'll primarily serve children and young adults, including:
- Ages 2–21 (with some young adult clients)
- Children with developmental delays
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Sensory processing, fine motor, and self-care challenges
Work Setting
Therapy services are provided in a variety of settings throughout the Chicago area, including:
- Client homes
- Daycares and preschools
- Private schools
- Our clinic
- Teletherapy (when appropriate)
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with pediatric occupational therapy preferred
