The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services is seeking to hire an Administrative Technician who has experience providing administrative support to staff and clients in a medical or psychiatric outpatient setting to include developing, establishing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets and reports for the Adult Outpatient Services program.
Duties:
Provide administrative support to Primary Care services for Adult Outpatient Services at Magic Hollow and Pembroke 6 locations.
Collaborate with Medical and Nursing staff and AOS clerical support.
Assist clients with scheduling appointments with outside providers and arranging their transportation as needed.
Ensure that releases of information are signed and filed in chart
Establish and maintain databases and/or spreadsheets.
Create statistical and/or narrative reports as needed.
Prepare accurate and thorough reports within established deadlines.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports thoroughly by deadline.
Prepare changes to and draft contractual agreements such as Memorandum of Agreement as needed.
