American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Works in a hospital Med-Surg/Step Down unit environment

Patient placement is determined by unit need — traveler may be assigned to either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on skills
-
Night shift: 19:00–07:30

Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Floating required within skill set, including to off-site locations within 40 miles

Active WI or compact RN license required
-
BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
-
ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both
