Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. Pre‑Construction & Planning
- Review project scope, plans, specifications, and site conditions to ensure readiness for construction.
- Coordinate with the pre‑construction team on design clarifications, long‑lead items, and schedule impacts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestone timelines, and look‑ahead plans.
Scheduling & Workflow Management
- Build, update, and manage construction schedules to maintain progress and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate sequencing of trades and ensure timely delivery of materials and inspections.
- Monitor procurement timelines provided by the pre‑construction team and adjust schedules accordingly.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
- Oversee subcontractor performance, daily activities, and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular jobsite coordination meetings to align expectations and resolve issues.
- Ensure proper resource allocation across labor, materials, and equipment.
Jobsite Oversight & Quality Control
- Maintain a high‑quality jobsite by enforcing standards, conducting inspections, and verifying compliance with plans and building codes.
- Identify deficiencies early and direct corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure workmanship meets company quality expectations throughout all phases.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Coordinate municipal inspections and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, engineers, and municipal officials.
- Provide clear, consistent updates on schedule, progress, and jobsite activity.
- Facilitate weekly progress meetings and maintain transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation & Administrative Control
- Manage RFIs, submittals, daily logs, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate records for schedule updates, inspections, and compliance.
- Track and communicate changes in scope or design to the pre‑construction team for processing.
Risk Management & Problem Resolution
- Identify potential risks or delays early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve conflicts related to design, materials, sequencing, or subcontractor performance.
- Escalate issues to leadership or pre‑construction when design or scope clarification is required.
Project Closeout
- Oversee punch‑list completion, final inspections, and homeowner orientation.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Deliver a clean, complete, and fully documented project at turnover.
Travel to Glenbeulah, WI everyone Wednesday morning required for weekly staff meeting
