Crosspoint Landscape & Design is seeking a Safety & Fleet Manager to join our close-knit, family-oriented team. This role combines construction safety management with fleet safety oversight, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance across our projects, crews, and vehicles
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
- Provide on-site safety oversight, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, assess conditions, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective measures in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, refine, and enforce safety policies and procedures to meet evolving business needs.
- Deliver safety training, including OSHA 10/30 courses, forklift certification, and new-hire orientations.
- Support and lead accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Participate in monthly safety and claims meetings; communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through consistent field engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Fleet Management & Compliance
- Oversee fleet safety programs, including driver qualification, training, and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver qualification files, motor vehicle reports, and safety performance metrics.
- Oversee fleet repairs, ongoing preventative maintenance of trucks, trailers, and construction/landscape equipment.
- Monitor fleet operations using telematics and fleet management software to track trends and driver behavior.
- Investigate and report all fleet-related accidents; manage claims and negotiate settlements (under $10,000).
- Serve as primary liaison with insurance carriers, brokers, and adjusters regarding accident and liability claims.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and ensure timely, cost-effective service through approved vendors.
- Lead risk assessments, analyze trends, and implement preventative measures to reduce fleet overhead.
- Provide technical expertise to leadership on fleet safety technologies and compliance strategies.
Qualifications
- Languages: Bilingual (Spanish required).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction safety and/or fleet safety management.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA, DOT, and other federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and decision-making abilities.
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with fleet management software and telematics platforms.
- Preferred Certifications:
- OSHA CSHO (Certified Safety & Health Official)
- OSHA CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician)
- OSHA 500 (Trainer Course)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk stairs, use ladders, and access confined spaces as needed.
- Physical endurance for frequent field inspections and at least 25% travel to job sites.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
