Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Barback and Busser. In this dynamic role, you will be the backbone of our bar operations, providing essential support to bartenders and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning spills, washing glassware, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as prepping garnishes or simple menu items when needed
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment
- Help with setup and breakdown of banquet or event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and organized before and after events
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy nights or events
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Experience working in restaurant, nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel environments is a plus
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for sanitation and organization
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting supplies, and bussing tables efficiently
- Previous experience with kitchen tasks or barista work is advantageous but not required
